Objective of the study was to substantiate the applicability of minor forms of physical training in daily life. Methods and structure of the study. The experiment was run in September-No-vember 2020 and had a technical (speculative) character. The analysis of the available special literature on the subject made it possible to organize the data presented in it in the following directions: the essence of the concept of motor activity; the importance of motor activity for human health; the impact of minor forms of physical training on the amount of motor activity; the types of minor physical training forms used during the educational and labor activities and in everyday life; the content and direction of minor physical training forms. Results of the study and conclusions. Under modern conditions for labor and household activities and in view of the challenges related to the transition to distance work, minor physical training forms are taking on special significance for solving the problem of motor activity deficit. The duration of such training sessions may vary from 3 to 20 minutes. Their content should be focused on the nature of work, state of health, and personal preferences of the trainees. An important field of work of the physical education and sports specialists, who ensure mass involvement of the population in the training sessions, is that related to the development of remote forms of non-specialized physical education.
