We report successful intensive care including extracorporeal therapy of multiple organ failure syndrome in a premature child with congenital heart and aortic diseases after bowel resection in neonatal period. Intensive therapy included mechanical ventilation, adequate inotropic and vasopressor support, antibacterial and nutritional therapy, timely renal and hepatic replacement therapy, as well as relief of acute peritonitis and severe circulatory failure. A comprehensive approach ensured correction of septic shock, multiple organ dysfunction, severe heart and respiratory failure. As a result, the patient was discharged from the intensive care unit for outpatient aftercare.
