Currently, the organization of medical nutrition in medical institutions is under the close attention since nutrition is an object of medical activity and an integral part of the treatment process. Objective. To develop the ways to solve the issues arising from the implementation of outsourcing in medical institutions and assess the level of patient satisfaction with the provision of ready-made therapeutic nutrition and quality of service. Material and methods. The analysis of the activities of medical institutions in Kazan for 2015-2019 and the analysis of the work on outsourcing of ready-made therapeutic food were performed. A survey of patients on the assessment of the nutrition quality was carried out. Statistical processing of the survey results was performed using Microsoft Office Excel 2013. Results. The correct choice of an outsourcer, a well-formed technical assignment, timely response to identified violations by the out-sourcer with official written registration, joint adoption of measures to eliminate them, the ability to control the work of the service provider by employees of the customer’s side, meetings with the supplier’s management, partnership between the parties and a clear fulfillment of their obligations by each party is the basis for the implementation of outsourcing. According to the results of patient questionnaires for the period 2018-2020 there was an improvement in the level of satisfaction with the organization of food provision and the quality of patient care; the satisfaction rate in 2020 was 100%. Conclusion. The issues of transition to outsourcing of ready-made therapeutic nutrition by medical institutions, despite the positive aspects remain unresolved due to problems that require immediate measures.
