The last decade, world health has been characterized by the active development and implementation of telemedicine in practice, which is associated with the widespread use of information and communication technologies. Modern telemedicine is a broad concept that includes various procedures for sharing medical information in order to maintain the level of health of the population, preserve and/or improve it, as well as additional training of medical personnel. Telemedicine technologies in practical health care can be used in various forms and at different stages of medical care. The potential benefits of telemedicine must be assessed taking into account the many characteristics and complexities associated with its use, which are represented by legal, organizational, financial, technical, ethical and social aspects. The growing importance of this issue is largely determined by the ongoing spread of the new coronavirus infection, which requires a significant restructuring of health systems in many countries. Currently, in the Russian Federation there is an acute problem of the lack of a regulatory legal framework that manages relations in the process of providing telemedicine services. The purpose of this study is to systematize the existing problematic aspects of the legal regulation of the use of telemedicine technologies in the Russian Federation.
