Nuclear knowledge transfer to support sustainable development agenda

The paper presents current status of nuclear power development focusing its potential in supporting the sustainable development goals especially in combating climate change and providing reliable source of electricity. The paper underlines some specific motivation to promote nuclear power that has come under broad consideration in the past five years, notably Paris Climate Agreement (2015) and Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change report IPCC-2018 and some others associated with change of leadership in the UN and the IAEA.
