The increase in the incidence of a new coronavirus infection has a significant impact on global health systems, shifting the vector of the COVID-19 pandemic in the direction of maximum conservation of resources. Aim of the study is to summarize and analyze available data on the organization of treatment and surgical care for patients in the urology profile in the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic. Material and methods. Materials published in the English-language literature were analyzed, which were searched in the Cochrane Library’s, MEDLINE (PubMed, BioMedNet), Scopus and Biosis databases. The following keywords were used: “COVID-19”, “pandemic”, “epidemic”, “treatment of COVID-19 patients”, “COVID-19 surgery” and “urology during a pandemic”. Results and discussion. Given the rapidly developing and difficult to predict scenario of the COVID-19 pandemic, existing global recommendations are sometimes temporary in nature, which must be adapted “individually” taking into account certain features of the modern health system, the rapidly changing epidemiological situation and the emergence of new clinical research data.
